This one-on-one, tutor-led, interactive e-learning course is aimed at anyone who needs to understand the basics of Fire Safety in the context of working in a Care Home. This course explains, in brief, why fires occur and what actions you must take to help prevent them starting and the actions you must take when they do. By completing this course you will be making your workplace a safer environment.
This course is a variation on the Basic Fire Awareness course that contains information that is specific to employees of care and residential homes.
Once you receive your log-in details, you can complete the course at any time to suit you. Each time you log in, you’ll be able to see the progress you have made and our e-learning portal will remember where you left off last time – so you can continue your training quickly and easily. You can also go over the learning content as often as required so you get the optimum learning experience that will be retained and applied to your work, to keep you and your business safe and compliant.
Our presenter Steve will guide you through all the knowledge and understanding you need in a series of videos followed by some multiple choice questions. You’ll have three attempts to complete each module before you’ll need to call us.

On successful completion of the course you will be awarded an electronic Certificate of Training in Basic Fire Safety Awareness for Care Homes.
