Emergency Paediatric First Aid (Qualsafe – Level 3)
Our Emergency Paediatric First Aid (Qualsafe Level 3) course is designed in line with current EYFS requirements. It is ideal for early years staff with a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification who need to be included in staff-to-child ratios, anyone caring for infants and children such as parents or grandparents who want to develop essential paediatric first aid skills, and newly qualified early years staff who require a Paediatric First Aid or Emergency Paediatric First Aid certificate within three months of starting work.
Course Content
- Managing an unresponsive infant or child
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Choking
- Seizures
- External bleeding
- And other common paediatric emergencies
Certification
On successful completion of the course, learners will receive the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) certificate, which is valid for 3 years. This certificate demonstrates that you have the required knowledge and skills to provide emergency paediatric first aid in accordance with EYFS requirements.
Kindly be advised, minimum numbers are required in order for this course to run.
