Our Level 1 Food Safety-Catering online course teaches the basics of food safety and hygiene within a food environment and is aimed at those holding a role in a setting where food is prepared, served or sold with no direct handling or preparation of food.
Students will cover topics such as premises hygiene, personal hygiene, risk control, pest control and waste management, focusing on minimising the level of potential hazards in a food catering setting. This Level 1 course is a universally accepted foundation for food safety and can serve as a stepping stone course onto the Level 2 Food Safety – Catering course.
